A lot of people are feeling hopeless and that's a problem.  As a society, we need to make progress - for ourselves, for our community, and for the next generation of people.  Let's agree that we can do better, and then do it.  Let's unite over the fact we are all people, and people deserve to feel safety and joy.  We cannot change others, but we can change ourselves, and collectively - that can be enough.
